  1. This part is going off on one. What the f**k has this got to do with the history of house? happy mondays didnt cross dance with rock - it was the KLF.

  4. Absolutely fuck all mate, the happy mondays were shit then and there shit now and there certainly nothing to do with real house music ! house music brings good feelings the only feeling I feel when listening to the mondays is depression !

  5. happy mondays should not be in this doc. it amazes me everytime they turn up.
they represented a lot of things - mostly hedonistic drug taking and indie music but just cos tony (god rest his soul) worshipped them and he was the creator of the hacienda, they get hooked into house music industry &sigh& take a deep breath.

  6. ...oakies remix of wrote for luck dragged the happy mondays into the house scene for a while, does not warrant their inclusion in the history of house music

  8. We all know house didn't start in Baltimore but we loved it. My First experience with it was in club Odells in 1984 and club Cignals. The gay clubs were always ahead of the others. I am sure they were doing it earlier. Seek Wayne Davis, Thommy Davis, Teddy Douglass or Tony Fadshaw. They are ususally at Club Paradox.
